Common questions
The extension cannot read this page. Chrome internal pages and some protected or empty pages do not allow extensions to read content. Open a regular web page, or select a readable financial passage and try again.
An audit says a claim is unverified. This means the sources retrieved did not directly establish that specific statement. Open the linked sources and check the date, subject, and context yourself.
An analysis times out or the service is busy. Select a shorter passage and retry later. The public service has rate and spending limits to control abuse and costs.
I cannot sign in. Check your email address and password. Use the account page to reset your password. The website and extension share one Firebase account, but each needs its own sign-in session.
I have no analyses left. Each account has 10 audit requests per UTC calendar month. Your remaining allowance appears on your account page. A request may consume one use even if a provider error occurs after it starts.
How do I remove saved reports? Open a full report and choose Clear local history. This removes saved Veritas reports from that Chrome profile.
